Georgetown Quaint Home

The Georgetown home is in a fantastic location, one block from restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. We enjoyed being so close to everything and being able to "pop in and out". The home was clean and comfortable except for the lower bathroom which had obviously not been cleaned. The Schlage entry code box did not work and remained nonoperational during our three day stay even after contacting the management company upon arrival. Overall the location was a win however the customer service and communication were lacking.

Will definitely stay again. Location was top notch and property management was extremely responsive. We were in town to move our student into his dorm and had a car. The parking pass was a life saver! We had a car for specific needs but generally not necessary since the home is convenient to all the shopping and dining Georgetown has to offer. Friendly neighbor was a bonus.

A prime location in Georgetown 1 block from Wisconsin Avenue, close to wonderful bakeries, shops, and restaurants, but on a quiet well-kept street of nice townhouses. We enjoyed our stay but the property needs some attention. The shade in the living room was defective and could not be held up, keeping an already rather dark room even darker. The deck was not swept, chairs were dirty and railing was covered with spider webs. The bed in the front upper room was defective-it creaked every time a person moved. It's disgusting to expect that a renter could sleep in such a bed.(The other two beds were very good). The bathroom window in the lower bathroom needs a screen. When opened to remove dampness and odors (no fan), bugs and mosquitos came in. The sink in the lower bathroom was clogged on arrival--it was not addressed by the cleaning crew prior to our arrival and left for us to deal with. We never did get the internet to work. The specified domain did not appear on our devices. There were some complicated directions on how to get it going, but we didn't feel like internet troubleshooting on our vacation. Perhaps the maintenance crew should check it to make sure it's operating before the next tenant arrives. The bathrooms were OK but by no means modern. The upstairs kitchen was nice, but no microwave. We had to go downstairs to the kitchenette there to microwave. We didn't alert the management to the problems during our stay, as we don't like to take time to address maintenance issues while on vacation. This property is perhaps adequate and within expectation of a vintage rental property, but it is by no means luxury or upscale inside.

Perfect location, exactly what we were looking for, would repeat!

My family enjoyed this home so much. It had a very quaint and historic vibe. The host was very responsive. We were a short walk (or scooter ride!) from many of the historic sites and amazing bakeries and ice cream spots. We didn’t have time to shop, but there were so many cute shops very close by.
I would definitely recommend this place for your next trip to DC.

Great house and great location. Easy access to transit. We took the 33 bus to many places and the stop was right around the corner. Georgetown has some great eating spots - we had City Sliders, Feta, Yello, Call Your Mother Bagel, Martin's Tavern and a great Ramen place all within a short walk from our rental.

Great location. House was well appointed and very clean. The description on VRBO regarding the stairway situation is accurate. Parking is a challenge. Washer/Dryer situation not good.

Our family loved the feel of being a part of the neighborhood. It was an easy walk to public transportation, fabulous restaurants, and shopping.

Wow! This was by far the best experience our family has ever had. The area was beautiful and quiet. The townhouse gorgeous. It has all modern amenities. The upstairs stayed a little warm but that was a minor inconvenience.
