Georgetown Eton Court - Perfect Location!

Perfect location, quiet and secluded feel in the heart of Georgetown, also felt very safe. Condo was updated, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and management was accessible and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, modern and lovely Georgetown home.

This apartment is very close to Georgetown University and M street. So lots of shopping opportunities and quaint Georgetown restaurants that are easily accessible. We tend to like the East Village better than West Village, but it is all great. We love this part of Washington DC.

Easy to catch public transportation just a across street. Loved our stay. Had plenty of room for 3 adults. Highly recommend.

This stay was exactly as advertised and then some! Our employees who came into town for a company-wide meeting had nothing but amazing things to say about the place and their stay. Would recommend 10/10!

My family of 4 (2 kids-9 and 11) had a great time visiting DC and especially enjoyed our location in Georgetown. It is right next to Peet's coffee (better than Starbucks) and Georgetown cupcakes (expensive treat for the kids). The property was easy to access from M street once we got the right key code and the kids enjoyed having the downstairs to themselves with separate bedrooms. Kitchen/dining area is pretty small but we mainly ate out. Can recommend Booeymonger for breakfast and Clyde's for dinner.

Great location (safe and convenient). Lots of nearby shops and restaurants, etc. Very small “living” area with tight dinner table and small couch. Not much can be done about it due to size/layout of condo. Only real issue we had was with access key code. Never received email or text with promised access code. Ended up using default “lock-out” code which worked fine.

Enjoyed our stay but accommendations very small. No place for four adults to
relax and sit after long days of touring. Living room area not equipped to sit comfortably. Two had to sit on floor. Sofa very old and very uncomfortable. Should be replaced. Kitchen well equipped.

Great Location, on M St near lots of shopping. Quick bus routes to subway and Washington attractions.
Dean and Deluca only food shop close, very expensive.
Had a little difficulty with door code at leaving. Took a few minutes to lock.

The condo was a good size for two adult couples. The kitchen was clean and had ALMOST everything we needed but could stand to have a few more pots and pans. ( need to add a Skillet and 10 qt Dutch oven)
The furniture was another story. 1 small and quite uncomfortable futon sofa was simply not enough seating for a 3 bedroom condo that advertises accommodating 6 people. The kitchen table, although nice looking was too large for the small space and the chairs were difficult to use since they were crammed in. A small round table would work better in this space.
The bedrooms were a decent size, and rate JUST OK on the comfort scale.
The bathrooms were updated and reasonable size but the upstairs shower was so cramped you better not drop the soap because there is really no room to bend over to pick it up.
Location wise- spot on. In the thick of the downtown vibe but far enough from the road to be away from the noise of the crowd.
So I have two recommendations for the owners. 1- get a small sectional for the living room. 2- provide better details on how to access the complex; such as enter on the M Street side since you can't access it from.the back side.
All that said if there was more comfortable seating in the dining and living room, I'd definitely stay here again.

This property turned out not to be very suitable for several adults with some hip/knee issues--there are lots of steep stairs to negotiate from street level, and then inside the condo, which we were not aware of.

Pros: Good location convenient to buses; excellent nearby restaurants; clean; close to waterfront park and canal path.

Cons: Poor communication beforehand--very hard to get a response from company; tiny living area with small uncomfortable futon sofa--hard for more than two adults to hang out together; no bedside lamp in one bedroom; only two wine glasses; why not real mattresses in the downstairs bedrooms? The futons on the platforms were low to the floor and not real comfortable. The patio only had two chairs--again, difficult for more than two adults to be together. Finally, it's tacky to make floors so important that guests are asked to remove shoes.

Very nice place in Georgetown. We would def stay here again . The place was clean and had nice home feel to it . Felt like I was staying in my own home . Very close to shops in Georgetown and lots of food options . Only a short ride away from DC and all the historical sites .

Great stay in Georgetown. Terrific access to everything. Nicely appointed unit with all the essentials. Only two tips...a more comfortable couch to relax and unwind between things, and maybe a more robust cable tv package (a small bit). Would come back again for sure.

The home was nice and the location was even better. It is close to the metro and circulator bus lines. The only downside for us was that 2 of the beds were futons, and not the most comfortable. Other than that, we would rent this house again.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Georgetown Eton Court. The location was close to many shops and restaurants as well as a short Uber ride to the Washington DC National Mall.

The owner was very prompt and professional in communication. We were impressed by their management of the property and quick action to resolve an issue with the air conditioner.

We would stay here again in the future.

Seems that several key items were omitted in description: many steps (over 50 or more depending on which side you come in) which is difficult when carrying heavy luggage, car seats, strollers, & children, etc. Management forgot to update me on the change of door code. Number of bath towels was insufficient for amount of people along with paper towels, toilet paper & kitchen supplies.

The condo was comfortable and clean. Just off M Street, nonetheless it is quiet and peaceful and the LUXbnb staff were pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again.

We loved our stay at this rental. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and comfortable and in such a perfect spot. The parking could be tricky at times but we were always able to eventually find parking when we needed it. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Lots of room to have a couple of guests join for a day and stay over. Good amenities with 2 baths, full kitchen, and living space, the real draw is being close to everything in Georgetown, and being part of the action, while having a tucked away location to go to, after the fun.

This property is right in the heart of Georgetown with safe and easy access to dining, shops and attractions. Transportation options are plenty including; Uber, bikes and public transportation. Big Wheel Bikes rents an assortment of bikes and Capital Bike Share has two stations nearby. Seeing the Mall and monuments by bike is the way to go! They are an easy, enjoyable ride away along the Potomac. Eton Ct, while small and very simple, is a fantastic home base for your DC visit.

We brought our family here for a week to move our daughter into Georgetown University; Eton court is close to everything! The house itself was very clean and newly updated. Will definitely be coming back to this one!

Location was amazing, the property was clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Georgtown area. Close to restaurants, shopping and bus lines.

I had a wonderful stay at Eton Court while performing at the Kennedy Center for 3 weeks. There was a blizzard in the middle of our stay, and it was handy to be within walking distance of the theatre and the few places that remained open during the storm. The property is in great condition and just as it looks in pictures. It was clean and warm upon arrival. The only things I would change is to add a tea kettle for boiling water, and perhaps the complex could deal with snow and ice in a timelier fashion. I realize DC doesn't do snow, but we had to shovel our way out of the door with a cutting board the first morning of the blizzard so that we wouldn't be completely stuck. I highly recommend this property for people looking to explore DC, or for a work situation.
