Dupont Spacious 1BR Apt, Great Location, Metro

This was an unexpected surprise. We usually stay in hotels but we decided to venture outside of that for once. The unit is well equipped with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The location is also amazing, just a block from Dupont Circle and Embassy Row. We used the Metro to go everywhere in the city, both bus and train. And don't forget to hop on the bus and go over to nearby Georgetown. I only wish that we had been able to stay longer.

Cute, clean and comfortable apartment located in a very walkable area. Host was readily available. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the excellent locatiion of the DC Rowhouse Apt on Embassy Row.Great for the car-less option. Strolled by the Phillip’s Collection daily to the DuPont Circle Metro for our chosen adventures. Walkable to Georgetown and Dumbarton Oaks. Nice selection of local restaurants and services.The Apt itself, while being lower level and virtually windowless was perfectly comfy. The kitchen was excellent and we loved our Keurig coffee in the morning. Tip: going carless, we stocked the apt on day one with delivery from Safeway which was a revelation...

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely and conveniently located unit. Every thing we needed was provided and the host was very responsive to questions. We would definitely choose this unit again when returning to DC.

Pros & Cons
Cons –
A few things didn’t work but they were not significant.
It’s not as close to the Mall as I thought, and there is not a lot of shopping nearby, but it is very convenient to the Metro.
I personally would have preferred a larger, softer bed and pillows, as well as a TV in the bedroom, but the closet space was very ample.
Pros –
The owner operator of the property management company is charming – very responsive, communicative, caring, She offered us many great suggestions about dining, getting around, etc. I cannot say enough great things about her.
The building owner lives very close by and was also very friendly, responsive and helpful.
The remodel here is recent; the appliances are top notch. There were some very nice quality amenities provided such as glasses and bath towels.
The unit was very, very clean.

This finely appointed apartment was everything it was advertised to be, and the location could not have been better! Comfortable, quiet, and convenient. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I loved our stay at this DuPont Circle apartment! The location couldn't be better! Just a block or so away from the Metro, and many restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go with the Metro.

The apartment itself is so cute, and well kept. The kitchen had every amenity you could need to cook, and a nice sized washer and dryer. While it is obviously an older (historic) building, you can tell that it has been updated and renovated.

We had a great stay here, and would recommend it!

We stayed at this apartment rental during our 2 week vacation in DC and the location was excellent! It’s approximately 3 blocks to the metro, restaurants throughout the neighborhood which was a very safe area. We were walking distance (1-2 miles) to the White House, the national mall, Smithsonian museums, the zoo, and Georgetown. However, many times we chose to take the metro back to the apartment :-).

The apartment itself has a lot of character with all the brick and the size was perfect for the 2 of us. There were a few things in the apartment that needed to be fixed or showed wear-and-tear but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. We had one hiccup with the front door because it would not lock one day when we were trying to leave and it was found that the battery needed to be replaced. I would strongly recommend that the rental be proactive with this and just change the batteries at a specific time because it did cause some exasperation and irritation as we needed to be somewhere at a specific time and we were delayed by about 30-45 minutes mostly due to not being able to make contact with LUXbnb; once we did connect with Charlotte she was able to help immediately. Also, since this is a basement apartment there are only 2 windows (bedroom and living area) so there isn’t much natural light.

Overall I would highly recommend this particular apartment rental when you visit DC!

The property was just as advertised. Immaculately clean and well appointed. It was conveniently located to a metro line and a comfortable home-base for me, my husband and our teen.

Absolutely amazing. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood in lovely DuPont Circle. It was very clean and well taken care of. It was perfect for our family! It was great to check out the difference neighborhoods nearby, as well as walk down to the mall. Lots of fun places to eat, and some great ice cream and coffee shops too. Everyone was incredibly nice, which made it hard to leave! Would definitely stay here again. Top notch customer service!

This apartment is tastefully furnished in a great part of DuPont Circle, minutes from the metro and restaurants. The upstairs neighbors were a bit loud at times, but overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

This was our first trip to Washington DC and we stayed 4 nights. The apartment is located in a quiet and safe area. It's a 5 minute walk to the Dupont Circle Metro station. Everything in the apartment was high end, clean and well-maintained. Just a couple advisories: We are used to a soft mattresses and the queen-bed mattress is pretty firm. Also, bring your own favorite shower body wash. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again.

The unit was clean and very comfortable. It is in a great location accessible to a lot of restaurants, shops and the metro station. The only negative was that there was only one frying pan and no baking sheets.

The Dupont apartment is spacious and comfortable. The bedroom was cozy and the bed oh so comfortable. We slept so well. The location can not be beat. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay was cool. The person(s) living in the upper units spent a lot of time running back’n forth and I mean running, literally. This occurred way to often in the twilight hours or close to that timeframe. My suggested solution would be to ensure the owner or whoever is in the upper unit is onboard with the bottom being occupied and buy-in to some best practices of occupancy. I understood to expect ‘some’ noise from the upper unit but that was a bit much. Plus I had a child with me who’s rest was continuously interrupted by the running. Other than that the staff was accommodating and the place was clean. I recommend the experience but not for an extended period as the ‘local tends to get restless’. Lol

We stayed here for two weeks in Dec. 2019. Surprisingly quiet apt. for this fabulous location. Attractive decor with excellent adjustable heating and lighting. Full size appliances and comfortable bed. Six steps down to keyless entry. Only challenge is the lack of counter space in the restroom.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to the Metro so access to sightseeing was easy. It is a newly refurbished property with new Ikea furniture. The kitchen is adequatly furnished. I forgot to tell the manager that the lights over the stove top don't work. It would have been nice to have a coat rack closer to the front door and a floor lamp near the couch for reading. Another smaller night stand in the bedroom would be nice too.
I would rent this place again..

The bed in the master was not what was in the photograph. It was a very low -double size and we were both unable to sleep on it which meant we had to use the pull out for one of us. Because of this I would not recommend. If you make sure they have the bed in the picture then I would recommend.

Overall it was a good experience. It's our second time at this property. We LOVE the location and the unit is spacious, comfortable and in great condition. The only issue is unfortunately there isn't a great sound barrier between the unit and the condo above. Nothing that would make us not want to stay again though. It's a nice apartment

Decided to stay at an apartment instead of a hotel during our trip across country to move our daughter to college so we had room for all her stuff. This apartment was perfect! It was very nice inside, very comfortable and in a great location. Plus the owner and Luxbnb were great to work with. Have already scheduled another stay!

Bed frame in master bedroom broke and the owner immediately provided a new one and gave us a $50 gift card for the inconvenience. As an additional touch, there was a bottle of champagne upon arrival to help us kick off the graduation celebration.

Staying here was perfect on all levels: impeccable design, location, cleanliness
