Love this cozy, comfortable,clean rental! GREAT location in a safe neighborhood, in walking distance to great restaurants, small market for essentials, and close to tourist attractions and fairly close to metro.
The rental unit had everything you need.we plan on coming back in the spring when it’s warmer.

This was our second rental through Vrbo and exceeded our expectations. The place was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We were pleasantly surprised by all the small amenities like the Kuerig coffee maker and pods. Entry was a breeze. TV and channels were adequate. AC worked fine. The place was quiet, which for light sleepers like me, a real plus.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk to several of the tourist sites and when they were beyond walking distance, Uber and Lyft provided dependable service. We usually booked ahead and they were always on time. Several restaurants offered delivery, and we stayed in every evening of our five-day stay.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

The Capitol Hill classic proved to be the perfect spot for my DC stay. Capitol Hill location was close to Metro and situated in a lovely, walkable area, The place was spotless and well equipped, always a plus when looking for a “home away from home.” And my hosts? Warm and welcoming!

Nice place and location; needs new sofa; many extra fees associated with this rental so would be nice to rent from owners and/or property manager directly.

The apartment has the timeless charm of a historic DC rowhouse and it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was in the perfect location to enjoy beautiful weather at Eastern Market, Lincoln Park and the National Mall, all within easy walking distance. The Metro is close for exploring other neighborhoods.

The owners and host are lovely and helpful with siteseeing tips and parking assistance. We'll be back!

We loved to property location. Easy walk to Union Station or Judiciary Square metro stations. Very quiet neighborhood. Th communication with LUXBnB was outstanding. We had some questions about a rental car and parking that steered us away from a car to all public transit, worked out well. Would recommend this property.

The apartment is beautifully set up, super clean and comfortable! The location is very convenient for walking to the capitol and museums. The bus is close by also. We spent most of the days out walking and visiting museums so the home was very comfortable to return to and relax. We would definitely stay again when visiting Washington. Also, neighborhood is very quiet and lovely to stroll around in. Thanks for a great stay!

This rental was perfect, beautifully designed, nice decor, clean and comfortable. The updated bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed for our nine day visit. This unit is in a nice, safe neighborhood with lovely streets to walk along on the way to Union Station and the Metro. We found connecting anywhere in the city quite easy. We were especially glad to be near many good museums and galleries. Also, and very importantly, the property management was quick to respond to any request we had. On our last day I lost my cell phone and only realized it once we were already at the airport. I called and the property manager who checked the apartment, found my phone, and promised to send it to me the next day. Thankfully, they were available to help me. What a relief! And what a fantastic place-- If we ever come to D.C. we will definitely arrange to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was exactly what we had hoped for and matched its description. Its location allowed us to explore DC the way we wanted to. Easy walking to the Metro. We enjoyed nearby restaurants for dinner and evening drinks, 10-15 minutes walking distance. A Trader Joe's is nearby too. The neighborhood is a thriving residential area. What fun!

We had a lovely stay at the chic urban classic. It's perfectly located, very convenient in all aspects of comfort, amenities and hospitality. Our hosts were very helpful but not in our business, helped us sort out parking and even recommended a local handyman to help us with our house repair aa we prepared our move into a more permanent dwelling. Thank you so much both!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay at this little ground-level unit on The Hill. Very clean, updated, and thoughtfully appointed. All appliances worked properly, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with basic supplies. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. Easy walking access to Metro, many restaurants and bars, corner store, and small parks nearby. A beautiful and charming neighborhood of brick sidewalks and enchanting homes, clean and safe, makes for delightful strolling any time of day or night.

This apartment was fantastic. It is well appointed and in a great location,close to the Metro, restaurants, and within walking distances of the Capitol. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. We will be recommending this apartment to our friends and family.

Our stay in Washington DC could not have been better staying at this lovely apartment. The unit itself was exactly like the photos. It was comfortable, chic, immaculate, donned with incredible artwork and pottery pieces throughout and stocked with everything you need. It was rainy a few days and they provided a lovely umbrella as well. I can’t emphasize enough how ideal the location was of this unit! It was just blocks from the Capital in a dream neighborhood. We did not rent a car and were able to walk to everything in DC, the museums, the monuments, Botanical gardens, Eastern Market, etc. We did venture out to Georgetown one day so used an Uber for that but otherwise could walk to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend this lovely apartment in DC. I would definitely stay there again if we return to was sublime. Dana B.

Capitol Hill Classic - Chic Urban 1 BR is the nicest, best unit we have stayed at in the Capitol Hill area. Whoever designed the remodeling of this unit thought of 'everything.' So efficient. The lighting is incredible. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The bathroom has sufficient counter and drawer space for 2 people. The decorating was lovely. We loved working with Charlotte! She is personable and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Was absolutely a lovely place. Just a short 10 min walk to the Capital. Apartment came with cleaning supplies, cookware, and even spices to cook with. Everything in the description is exactly the way it was.

My daughter and I decided to take a trip to DC for the Thanksgiving holiday! What a blessing to come across this incredible little home away from home! The apartment is precious, very clean and well appointed and the hosts were SO friendly and TOP NOTCH!!! You will not regret staying here! We felt very safe and comfortable. And, when our return flights were delayed and it was pouring down rain, they graciously allowed us to hang there past check-out time. We would rent this unit again when we return!!! This place is awesome! We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our first time in DC. It was a super easy process from booking to check out. The owners, which we had a chance to meet were very warm, caring and hospitable. The stay here felt like home for the week. Very comfortable with everything you need. We walked or used Uber everywhere. We also rented a car at Union Station and drive to Gettysburg for an overnight stay. Everything was amazing and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery places near by. Definitely a place I’d come back to when in DC.

The apartment is in a great location. It was a great size for my daughter and me as well. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean. Great neighborhood. We loved it. Management company’s online “chat” with a robot was useless. Call or text them directly. Their response time was delayed, but once messages were passed to owners, owners were very attentive and helpful.

This apt was a perfect place to stay in DC. We could easily walk to Eastern Market, the Library of Congress, the Capitol, and the Mall. Street parking was easy to find every day. The apt was very clean, had everything we needed and it was well appointed and comfortable.

The lower level apartment was redone and beautifully decorated. We would’ve liked to have a king size bed but the room was too small to accommodate that. The apartment is in the eastern market district and in close walking distance to dinners and shops, and the capital building.

This is a very comfortable apartment in a great location. I will look to stay here again next time I am in DC.

We appreciated the location, a nice neighborhood close to metro and many venues. The apartment is freshly remodeled, clean and well furnished. Our only problem was the firmness of the bed, too hard for our taste.

This is a wonderful place. We stayed here during our vacation to DC. The neighborhood is lovely and is only 5 blocks from the Capitol. It is so comfy and it has everything you could possibly need. The decor is soothing. The owners are fabulous people. We will definitely be staying here again.
As for LUXbnb, that is another story. This company has a lot of room for improving their communication. Email and voicemail messages went unanswered. I finally got the owner, Charlotte, on the phone and she mentioned one of her employees had a long weekend. It must have been a very long weekend,because over the course of 3 weeks I sent 3 emails and left 2 voice messages, all unanswered. It was frustrating. This was our first experience staying somewhere other than a hotel. I found the listing on Trip Advisor and booked the stay 5 months prior to our travel date. It was less than a week before our stay and had not received check in information or even the address.
I would like to see the owners of this wonderful apartment use a different property management company.

This was a great apartment in DC. It was relaxing place to which to return after a long day's exploring. Once we discovered Eastern Market, we were in heaven: great restaurants, bars and the market itself.
Proximity to major sites was great: the Capitol and the National Mall were within a solid walking distance.
The only drawback and even so, not a significant one, was that it was a bit of a walk to transport. The Eastern Market metro was over a kilometre, as was Union station. We did it and that was fine, but travellers who don't want lengthy walks for public transport might want to consider this. On the days when we had a car, it was irrelevant and the owners, who went away at the same time, kindly offered us their parking space, which was a bonus, given that parking was tight in the neighbourhood.
Overall, the apartment was outstanding, the neighbourhood delightful and the prevailing atmosphere quiet and restful.

A great location where we could walk to everything. Beautifully decorated with care and style. It was spacious, yet cozy and wonderful to come home to at the end of a busy day.

WE had a wonderful time, we were able to get into the rental earlier, which was a bonus. The place was newly decorated in a modern style which was very appealing to the eye. It was a very comfortable environment where we felt at home. It was so close the the Supreme Court, Capital and other monuments, we bought tickets for the Trolley tour but we could have done without that since everything was in walking distance. I just would make sure you let the owners know you are driving in so the parking pass would be available since it's difficult to find a spot, and it's limited without the pass, but other than that, it was outstanding, we will be looking to book another long weekend in the spring.

This VRBO was very clean and in an awesome neighborhood. Very convenient to walk to most of the DC sights. Would stay there again.

We were very satisfied with our accommodations at the Capitol Hill Classic. Photos are accurate but do not capture the elegant, artistic and high-quality decor, furniture, fixtures, etc. The owners were very responsive to a couple of minor problems and also friendly and helpful. Best of all is the location, just four blocks from the Capitol and in a quaint neighborhood with nearby restaurants and shops. If you're someone who likes lots of natural lights and a view, you may want to consider other options as this garden-level apartment has neither. But that is a small nitpick, especially for those who plan to be out of the apartment during most of the day and home only at night.

This apartment was very nice and very clean. It was a beautiful walk to the National Mall and lots of excellent restaurants very close by. A parking pass was supposed to be available but despite several calls it could not be obtained. Parking close by is difficult as it is first come first serve on the street and a pass is required.

Clean home from home. Very well equipped property with everything though the about. Especially the kitchen we had all utensils pot etc we needed to cook a meal and to clean the property. Well situated for metro and all attractions,market,store and bikes. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

What a great place to stay to enjoy all the sites and entertainment that DC has to offer. The Capital Hill Classic is in a nice quiet neighborhood and yet in walking distance of all the sites and transportation and great restaurants. After a full day of seeing the sites what an enjoyable place to return to relax. The home is beautiful. Thanks for letting us share your home and city with you.

This was one of the best places I have rented on VRBO. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and comfortable. It was decorated to perfection from the kitchen to the artwork! You are so close to everything near Capitol Hill and the Eastern Market! We did tons of walking or found great public transportation not far from the rental.

The owners were fantastic to work with, however the rental company could use to send out check in and check out instructions a little sooner than they did. Also would have liked the rental company to answer calls and texts a little quicker. Overall, a great stay in a great city.

My son and I rented this nicely appointed one bedroom apartment for our week long stay in DC. It was the right size and had all the ammenities neccesary to rest our heads, cook and clean our selves and our clothes. It was the perfect space away from the Mall, walking and biking distance to all the attractions. The home was very clean fully furnished and arranged nicely.

This apartment is perfection. The location is within easy walking distance of the
U S Capitol and Supreme Court. We did Uber to a few locations and used The Circulator. Restaurants and shops all very handy. We love this apartment, it is our 2nd visit. The neighborhood is historic and lovely. We hope to return again.

This is without question one of the best if not the best in which I have ever stayed. It was very clean and very well equipped. The apartment did not have the feeling that it was a rental. We had the sense that it was a home. This was a function not only of the space but also of the decor and the furnishings.
