Host, Ms Charlotte, was very nice, responsive to any needs. Location perfect. Property description was accurate. Property was very clean and well maintained.

We had a great stay. The guest suite was in a perfect location, easy in and out of the city and Georgetown. The neighborhood was quaint and quiet, bordered by the park. Overall stay was great and price was unbeatable!

Very nice clean place to stay in a quiet neighborhood in DC... Host was very helpful and I absolutely loved everything perfect for a couple or just yourself. I will definitely try getting this place again when I'm back! 5 STAR QUALITY

We loved the space and the hospitality. It was quiet, clean, very well arranged. Space is small as listed- but we did not feel at all constrained. Traveling with a young child, we were so pleased with a bit of outdoors with the convenience of a backyard, local playground and hiking trail. We ate great food locally within walking distance as well as more formally on night out in DC. Extremely responsive host who made our stay entirely stress-free and relaxing.

We loved staying at this property. It was comfortable, convenient and clean. Everything we needed was provided and the private garden was lovely!

My husband and I really enjoyed this vacation home. We were away most of the day and would return to a nice, quiet neighborhood. I would have given it 5-stars but we had a small issue with the air conditioning. We reported the issue and received a prompt response. Unfortunately, it was never fixed but it wasn't too bad because we would return really late at night. So we slept with the windows open. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Five star everything for a fraction of the cost. A short walk to all the necessities and an easy Uber ride to DC. Host was beyond helpful providing wine, coffee, tea... even umbrellas on the day it rained. Without a doubt, I would stay here again!

This was my second, 3-night, stay and everything was as before: clean, ready for me and very convenient; including the off-street parking. A Safeway is less than 5 minutes walk away. The WiFi works well and the nights are so quiet that a good rest is assured. Excellent, good-value restaurants abound in the neighbourhood. I'll be back! David from Mexico

Charming little add-on behind house in a nice residential area. Hostess lent us her neighborhood parking pass, which made it much easier to park. Close to Georgetown and American University. Not fancy, but charming, with small but adequate bathroom, coffee maker and small fridge. Under direct flight path of National Airport, took awhile to get used to the sound of takeoffs at 5:00 a.m. Heater worked very fast (too well!) in quickly heating the room. Very private and cozy. Hostess very helpful printing out our boarding passes.

Cozy, convenient, charm, privacy, great easy access via lovely garden. Bus to/from downtown works excellent during peak hours, nice shops and restaurants for immediate needs just round the corner. Will definitely come back.

Had a wonderful stay and vacation at this rental in D.C. It was close to downtown D.C. and extremely nice. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the capital.

Everything was perfect. The property is beautiful and the location is great.

The studio was perfectly located for my needs, close to Georgetown and with fast, easy access to Virginia. A car is necessary and the owners provided a safe off-street parking space close to the entrance to the studio. The studio met all expectations, was clean and efficient. I would recommend it and plan to stay there again.

It was wonderful. Cottage had everything we needed. Property was better than pictured. Close to Safeway with a Starbucks and many restaurants. Parking on street. Would love to stay again. Hostess was so helpful!

Well located, attractive room, quiet location, very comfortable bed. Kitchenette not equipped for cooking but fine for a cold breakfast and snacks. Well stocked with coffee, paper plates, plastic cutlery, some toiletries.

Very comfortable and private. We were able to immerse ourselves in the local area, shop, use public transportation and still get everywhere we wanted to see.
Charlotte was helpful via email...making suggestions about special events and answering our questions. She is very informed!

My husband and I thought the rental was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. It was close to a bus stop, CVS, Safeway, and several eating establishments. The only negative comment we have is the size of the corner shower..not a lot of room.

THey made everything so perfect for our stay. THey were very helpful with suggestions and offers that were going around for different activities. Had lots of information on things to do in the room as well. The location was great. Just a short bus ride into town or short drive and you were there. The room was clean and just perfect for a stay in D.C. Had everything you would need.

Wonderful stay. Charlotte was a lovely host, easy to get in touch with and always replied promptly. Shopped daily for fresh food at Safeways and made good use of the fridge and microwave to store food for breakfast and packed lunches. Bus stop close with somewhat of a long trip to downtown but pleasant enough. Finding bus stops for the way back was a lot trickier as we were not familiar with the bus route or DC. Room adequate for a short stay. Clean and comfortable. Nice back yard to eat breakfast in. Thank you Charlotte.

This was an excellent place to come home to at the end of our long tiring days. The local transit system was so convenient for getting around and made our stay here easy and inforgettable. I would highly recommend this location.

I so enjoyed my stay! I chose this spot because of its closeness to our daughter and son-in-law - 2 blocks away! But I will come back because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, the comfort of the room, and the delightful feel of The Palisades.

We loved our time in DC at Best of Washington! The neighborhood was lovely, quiet, and convienent. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the bus stop, local market, and restaurants. Just a pleasant place to stay!

Everything was very well managed. The scheduling was handled well. The room was very lovely and well worth the price. Location was perfect for us. Charlotte was so lovely and responsive. If we are ever in Washington, we would stay there again.

We were very pleased to find this property at such a low rate (93.60/night) in DC. When we arrived Charlotte was most gracious in greeting us and giving directions to local amenities. We were surprised that there was no TV, but were able to watch episodes of TV we missed on the computer. The room was very cramped with little area to get comfortable; however, we stayed for four nights and were able to adjust. The shower was very small, but adequate. The closet kitchen did have a small refrig and a small microwave which allowed for some warm food. I got tired of paper plates and bowls and plastic tableware, but in so far as there was no place to wash dishes, it was necessary.
I think that the room was OK - kind of like camping out while in DC. For the economy-minded who are not looking for a lot of comfort and amenities, I think Charlottes Web would be excellent. However, to call it "The Best of DC" is a bit deceptive.

Safe, friendly, cosy and wonderful.

Very private and nice place for stay, and I will stay here again if I visit to DC.
