A fantastic experience. It was great in every way. Charlotte made everything about the stay a breeze. We met the owners briefly, by chance, and they were super nice. We stayed for several months, and it was a perfect place to be in DC for the summer. I'd recommend it highly,

You are across the street from Trader Joes, one block away from the metro and the busses. A few blocks away from the Circulator. One of the few homes with a driveway too, which is a huge plus in this area if you have a car. One block away from Eastern Market which is nice to walk around every weekend. Very charming neighborhood.

Eastern Market Metro stop gets you to the Capitol and the Smithsonian easily.

Property is in nice shape too. Lots of space. New bathrooms Small, but nice kitchen. Big dining area.

Great location-an easy walk to Trader Joe's, Eastern Market and the metro. You can also walk to the Capitol and Whole Foods. The house is spacious but needs a good clean and the mattresses in the rooms other than the master need to be replaced. There is a lot of noise at night in the bedroom facing the street. That same bedroom has creepy black sheets and comforters. We had to clean the light in the dining room because it was so dirty. It took 2 days to get a can opener and the backyard has not been swept in ages. The TV basically does not work during peak viewing hours; they have no major stations and Netflix requires more bandwidth than they have. Also we had to wait 26 days to get our security deposit back. With a good cleaning, some badly needed updates and better management, this place could get 5 stars. Till then, it barely merits 3.

I would love here forever if I could. Not only are the house and location amazing, the host is wonderful. Check in and out we're a breeze, and exactly as advertised. The host was extremely easy to work with and accommodating!

There were some maintenance issues. While a handyman remedied the upstairs rear window, which wouldn't close completely, other issues remained. First, one of the screens in the master bedroom was partially dislodged. The handyman fixed it but it popped out again. Second, the tub/shower in the MBR would not shut off completely and leaked during our entire stay, which was annoying. We informed both the handyman and the management company and the handyman said he would return to fix it but didn't and the management company never responded.
We were disappointed that there was no first aid kit and we needed one during our stay.

This 3-story row house style condo was ideal for a five-night stay celebrating grandson's 10th birthday year with tours of DC monuments & museums, Capitol Museum of the Bible, National Cathedral, Mount Vernon Arlington Cemetery, etc. Excellent facilities & ample, comfortable room for four or more in two bedrooms with private baths (a 3rd BR if ground floor" second den sofa beds utilized). Garage is available + driveway off-street parking. Second floor den, dining room, and kitchen work very well. Third floor BR's make for a "long climb" but it is quite manageable. Location is perfect--one block north of Eastern Market metro stop, shopping & excellent local restaurants, grocery, and drugstore. Only about 8-blocks from U.S. Capitol. Would rent this great place again "in a heartbeat."

Everyone I spoke to was great, providing lots of good ideas of what to do in the area. We drove from south of Boston, it was snowing in MA when we left which slowed us down a lot and made the drive longer. We had two cars, the first one got to the rental at around 7pm. That’s when we encountered the first issue. I had contacted the hosts to make sure there was space for two cars, as we didn’t want to have to worry about parking after such a long drive. We were assured that one car could fit in the garage and the second one in the driveway. When the first car got in the first group encountered a lot of debris in the garage, so much so that a car couldn’t fit. Lots of tools left around, wood as well. It seems as if a projected was being done and someone left all the extra stuff all around. My dad who has a bad back had to clean the garage before I got there with the second car because we were told the handyman must have forgotten to clean and wouldn’t be able to get there until the next day. So he had to clean the garage to make sure both cars fit as we were assured they would. That was a bit frustrating especially because we were tired and not expecting that. When we went inside to inspect I got a little worried because right off the bat you could see the first floor bedroom with the couches was super dirty, lots of wood particles all over the carpet. Luckily the second and third room were clean and comfortable. The house overall was the right size for our group of 7, the location was perfect as it had everything we needed. The Trader Joe’s was right across the street from high was really helpful and we were super close to the national mall which is the reason for our visit, to walk around the monuments. I had no other issues aside from the garage issue and the dirty first floor carpet. My sister did mention the first floor shower kept clogging and my parents also said the same thing happened with their shower in the master bedroom.

We spent a great 11 days here while we worked remotely. It was a really great place and exceeded our expectations. It was a great location - close to restaurants and a great neighborhood.
