Dupont Spacious 2BR Apt, Great Location, Metro

The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable for my family of five. The location was incredible and our host was so responsive and helpful.

We came into town for a burial at Arlington and stayed a couple extra days. The rental was as described and comfortable for 5 people. Any issues were addressed right away. Convenient location, would stay again!

Great apartment in a great location! This 2-bed, 1 bath apartment should meet anyone's needs at the highest standard. Being a few blocks from Dupont Circle and enjoying a weekend brunch at the Pembroke should be on your bucket list!

The house was spacious and comfortable with all new appliances. I wished for more information on how to operate them. Questions were directed to a chatbot with generic answers. Management were very slow to respond to emails or texts.

We loved everything about this property! It was a wonderful place to stay for our Spring break week! We cooked breakfast every morning in the beautifully updated kitchen-all Viking appliances. Then we would head out for our long and busy day of sightseeing. We would Uber or take the metro. All so convenient! After a long day of walking and enjoying DC-we looked forward to relaxing in our very clean and comfortable apartment! Such a great location and we felt safe and secure. We enjoyed walking to dinner and exploring the neighborhood around dusk. We would definitely stay here again! It was very cozy and comfortable for our family of 4.

Overall, this is a well appointed, comfortable townhouse in an excellent location. However, we had almost no hot water (it came on very occasionally) during our four days there. The response to the problem was not an example of great customer service, either. The check in process was also flawed as the two numbers they provided to use didn't work so my daughter had to call the office for an alternative.

The apartment is spacious, bright and well furnished, clean and very quiet. The Washer and dryer are a great help in a long term stay. The apartment is just a few feet from the many restaurants on Connecticut Ave, and very close to the Circle. We had a great stay.

The full experience end-to-end was fantastic. Communication was prompt, booking was easy and the apartment was beautiful. The apartment has been renovated to a very high standard. The location was fantastic and all in our party were comfortable and loved every minute of the experience.

Having lived in DC for over 50 years it was great to be back in town for our daughters wedding. We could not have enjoyed any better accommodations. The location, the cleanliness and attentiveness of the owners was all 1st class. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine to kick off our stay. The accommodations were spacious. Although only 3 adults were staying, most nights our local children & spouses (7) came over for dinner and there was ample space. This unit delivered as promised, we would certainly stay here again (in December for the Covid delayed reception) and recommend it to friends or any one visiting DC.

We rented this 2BR 1BA condo over Thanksgiving and had a really good experience. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking a great meal, and location of the condo was wonderful - very central within DC. I would recommend to others.

This place is beautiful and roomy. It has everything you could possibly need. My stay was for 10 days while in town for work and I didn’t want to leave. Tastefully decorated and very quiet neighborhood. Steps away from restaurants, Starbucks, you name it. La Tomate is a must. Management was always available and made everything seamless and easy. I will stay here again when I come back to DC.

My trip was fantastic, but I wish the management would have given me a heads-up on places to park before I arrived. It would have saved me the panic of getting towed and or feeding an hourly meter till midnight.

We were here for a week. Perfect accommodations for my husband and four children! Great location and we felt safe. Almost perfect, a few recommendations: the water pressure in shower is too weak and master bedroom bed mattress could be improved. Also, a book of dining recommendations, how to work television, information, etc would be nice. The owner was welcoming and friendly! Would stay here again:)

Stayed over the Christmas holiday with my son and mother. Beautifully appointed apartment, wonderful kitchen and within easy walking distance to Metro. Beds are very comfortable and it was great to be able to log in to Netflix, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, newly updated. Short walking distance (5 min) to metro station and many restaurants and a CVS for groceries etc. Safe neighborhood. Washer and Dryer was very nice to have.

We had a wonderful week in this rental. It is in a great location, close to the red line metro station. It is also close to many delicious restaurants (BareBurger and Bethesda Bagels are great!). The 2nd bedroom bunk beds are very squeaky but the beds were comfortable and the amenities are nice. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

Great stay overall. Did have a problem with our car being towed so we lost an evening trying to find it and get it back. Manager that evening was not super helpful and questioned whether we even reserved parking, but Charlotte, the Owner of LUXbnb, was awesome and even offered to drive us to pick up our car. Apt was very clean, beautiful location, we walked everywhere (to Georgetown, the National Mall, and even the zoo) so bring a good pair of walking shoes. Lots of great restaurants nearby along with Rite Aid in case you need something. Beautiful apartment and we would rent again if we were in the DC area.

I had the pleasure of meeting the homeowner who was very friendly. The home was beautiful and clean and exceeded my expectations. I look forward to returning and booking this home again in the future.

This apartment is Great for anyone who wants a prime location in the city. As others have written, its Close to the metro as well as good restaurants, shops and the Sunday farmers market. We thought the bedrooms were very comfortable. I liked the more firm bed and my wife liked the softer one. Plus both bedrooms had perfect sleeping conditions - cool and quiet. The property manager worked with us to get a blender so we could do smoothies for breakfast which was vital. The only area that we gave less than perfect ratings was to the property condition. All of the furniture was comfortable except the eating area at the counter. I had to do emailing and computer work and for a big guy having no table and chair wasn’t comfortable. We also had to find a new lightbulb to replace a burned out bulb in one of the living room lamps. But overall this a gem of a place.

Great location across from bike rental docking station, a few blocks from metro, Starbucks, Safeway. Spacious apartment for our family of 4–loved having access to Netflix. Comfortable beds. Washing machine/dryer and detergent was so helpful to do a load of laundry the day we left. Everything we needed we found. It was a little confusing finding the right apartment because there are two with the same address, but the manager was readily available when we called.

We really enjoyed this property. It has a great location, just a short walk from DuPont Circle and in a safe neighborhood. Everything in the home is brand new. The kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances, spacious fridge, dishwasher, etc. Frankly we primarily used the Keurig, as we mostly ate out and just reheated leftovers & ate simple breakfasts there. We loved lounging in the living room with the nice sized TV and comfortable sofas. Plenty of room to relax after all the walking and touring of DC. Wifi worked best in the living room and master bedroom. The owner addressed some minor issues very promptly to our satisfaction (needed additional towels and asked for additional egg shell foam padding on the firm mattress). We highly recommend ChiKo & Tiki Taco - delicious! There is a Starbucks across the street but pass that up for some wonderful breakfast coffeeshops in Dupont Circle. The Metro is super-close; we also found that Lyft and Uber cost about the same for a family of four to go to the National Mall. Perfect vacation and "home" location for us with our teens. Would be a great place for a couples vacation to enjoy the nearby bars and cafes along DuPont Circle.

The neighborhood was very nice and it had food places within walking distance. It was very easy to get an Uber or take the Metro. We even walked back from the Washington mall one afternoon. It saved money having a kitchen to make a few meals. Plus having two bedrooms so we didn't have to share a bedroom with the kids; loved the bunkbeds in the second bedroom so the kids didn't have to share a bed! My family was unsure about renting a VRBO but was so happy we did.

Location - This charming row house was perfectly situated for visitors! Starbucks is on the corner, red line metro is less than a five minute walk and endless options for food (bagels, bakery, Thai, Korean, vegetarian, vegan, Greek Japanese, etc.)! CVS and 7-11 are nearby as well.

The House - perfect for a family of four. Very clean at arrival. The kids shared the back room with the bunk beds. The main bedroom has a pocket door into the one bathroom/shower.

I did not make parking arrangements prior to arrival. The property manager was kind enough to inquire with the owner and we were able to park behind the house for an extra daily fee. Well worth it.

Personal preference - the main bedroom mattress was too firm for us. We ended up sleeping in the living room on the pullout sofa. I recommend providing an optional pillow top.

Attractions - We walked to Logan Circle, to Georgetown and to the Mall (clocking at least 20,000 steps a day). If that is too much walking, the red line takes you to the Capitol and the Mall conveniently and we had no problems navigating the metro system.

Highly recommend the evening tour of the monuments - the tours pick up at the Navy Memorial and the Capitol tour (includes Library of Congress, Folger Library and the Capitol).

Museums - National Air & Space, Sculpture Park, American History, Holocaust and African American History. Wish we had more time!

The location was perfect and I was very pleased with communication from the owners. The only think I would have liked would have been a binder of local eateries or things to do (with or without kids) because I was in town for work but stayed a few extra days with kiddos.
